Ditto!

The Amish make sausage like this in Lancaster PA. Its more like a hard dry bologna/salami type. They also use cotton cloth bags in the same way.
I have a case of old gartered nylon stockings that was given to me for this type of sausage but have yet to use them.

I might be able to answer this ........... ?black pudding! ;)
The black pudding are put in women's tights and then contestants have to throw them as far as possible as part of the World Black Pudding Throwing Championship which is held in England each year. They may even have to knock over a big pile of Yorkshire Puddings if my memory serves me correct!
True or false? ;) ::)
Fact sometimes is stranger than fiction! ::) ;) :D
Based on Olds last comment I now suddenly suspect we have all been set up! :D

Well give that man a cigar~~!
What it is, is compost in a stocking that is soaked in water to make compost tea. It is then inserted / injected into a deicated well - pump system and then applied to all my plants.
Compost tea will not only stop midew / mold, but will stop a lot of diseases PLUS it will foilager feed my plants. It is good stuff~~!
While we have an irrigation system the compost system is indenpendant. I use a hose to dispense the tea. This allows me to feed trees and bushes.
This is the system I just put in.

The tea itself is pictured below. Now I will delute it to the color of very weak tea. I may from time to time add fish and seaweed extract for an extra boast. I control the amount of tea by the value below the filter in the above image. As I've said... good stuff~~!

Olds,
You are one sick puppy. I remember one of your posts talking about this method of making tea.
We use nylon stockings to slip over pheasant that someone wants to mount. It keeps the feathers smooth and unruffled. A friend wanted to mount his bird but did not have a stocking (I did but did not let him know). I saw a farm lady working in the yard and I slammed on the brakes. I told him that this lady would give him some old stockings as it was a common request in the Iowa area. He would not need to give her a reason, she would know. To do otherwise would be degrading.
His opening line was evidently, "Can I get a pair of your old stockings?"
There was a lot of arm flailing and loud words but he came back with a stocking. He had several descriptive words he used on me to let me know his displeasure but then we laughed a lot and tell the story often now.
We are still friends. I guess I am a sick puppy too.
Thanks for the laugh.
