Title: CHRISTMASS LIST
Post by: marauder11 on November 17, 2009, 07:11:25 PM
With Christmass right around the corner I have two lists going. 1) What I want for Christmass I am still a kid. 2) What I am planning on making for Christmass.
First off I want a 20 pound meat mixer like a 10 year old wants that train set. Second I am planning on making Maple breakfast sausage, Snack sticks and some more Summer sausage. What about everybody else?

My Christmas smoking goodies are in the works. I have 6 baskets of goodies to do. Cheeses, salmon, jerky, sticks, crackers, wine. Got some real nice baskets at the Pottery in Williamsburg VA.

Nepas - we cross paths (late) again...   We'll be there from 12/24 to 12/31.

As for making gifts, I will be making up packages of smoked cheese and Canadian bacon. I was hoping to include dry cured chorizo, pepperoni, salami and bresaola but got a late start on that.

We stopped spending a ton of $$ on Christmas a couple years ago...  Now the Mrs, MIL and myself all take a trip between Christmas and New Years, and take in some history.  Last year it was Charleston, SC.  This year we are staying in Williamsburg, VA.  The women folk will do some shopping (of course) on their own, and I'll find some good local food & spirits to enjoy.

They do take a trip to Jupiter (Florida - not the one near Saturn) for Spring Training, so that is the only major gift purchased.

I already have my toys in the back yard...  And a line on a gently used 'T' for my Spring Training.  ;)
