Hi
I need to go buy some beef for pepperoni. I also need some to muix with pork butt for sausage.
What should I be buying? It seems to make no sense to buy already ground beef. Apparently there is a sanitary issue as well with
ground beef when used in sausage.
But as I know nothing of the lesser cuts ( tend to gravitate to prime rib and sirloin roasts for the table )
i am not really sure what I should be looking for.
Any help would be appreciated.
How about some chuck, that has a nice fat content to it.
And it's not too pricey either.
