Title: Hi Mountain "Link Master"

Local farm store has these on sale this week...

Is it worth a darn for a novice (as in never) sausage attempt?

Always used a grinder. Doesn't seem overly priced though. Is kind of limiting, it says only breakfast sausage which probably means only small casings so you'd probably not be able to do larger sausages.

I think they have it for like 25 bucks...   Might be worth it just to play with some different recipes. (in small batches)

They also have sheep/hog/synthetic casings on sale...   And some different cure kits from Eastman (?).

Might make a run over there Wednesday and pick up some toys.

I'm curious...

What does the grinding ?

It looks like a gun to do the stuffing ?

I'm pretty sure you use pre-ground meat, and mix their seasonings in.

Thats just the GM shooter. They sell the same thing at Cabelas. You need to grind or buy already ground to use in it.
