Title: butcher string
Post by: watchdog56 on November 25, 2009, 04:22:24 AM
What is the difference between butcher string and regular string? I need to do some summer sausage and all I have is regular string. Can I use this or will it burn?

If the string you have is all cotton, it's OK to use it. I just wouldn't use string with synthetic material in it.

I use butcher twine. Like Hawkeye said, stay away from the synthetic twine.
