Was that an Oldsmobile or something?...
Anyhow, I have a TV in the garage. I never watch network shows, but I was out there working, and it was just "ON"...
Apparently, there's a TV game show where Jeff Foxworthy asks people grade school questions.
So, I'm cleaning my "bus", etc.. and I hear this question..
"The Wabash River starts in Ohio and goes through what state before reaching Illinois?
I ain't building rockets around here, but it still sounded like a "gimme" to me...
Then... I swear to God... this guy answers, "Coronado".
[audience laughs hysterically - the guy corrects himself]
"I meant COLORADO".
Anyway... it gets better... (really)
"What planet in our solar system, aside from Mars, only has one syllable?"
The guy answers "Pluto".
You are thinking of the Olds Tornado. It was a front wheel drive car.
Edit] It may not have been front wheeldrive every year but the one my dad had was. I don't remember what years.
Yeah - that's it - I think they were all FWD.
Anyhow, Do they have state taxes in Toronado?
"Are You Smarter Than A fifth grader". Yeah you know I watch those shows occasionally and most of the time I can answer the questions, but I have to admit that show stumps me more often than not. I guess I wasn't paying attention when the teacher was talking most of the time. ;D ;D
Uh huh.. I hear ya...
This is the 2nd time this has happened to me (out in the garage - and I'm hearing this show while I'm workin' on stuff...)
The first time --- I felt like Mr. EXTRA_STUPID.
"Based on the average temperature, in Broken Bow, Oklahoma, from 1950 to 1990, not withstanding the cumulative effects of all crystal condensors east of the Mississipi River, and assuming that today the moon is 1/4 phase, and your mother was a light bulb, and your daddy was a 2x4, how many footballs could you fit into a dog house?"
SAY WHAT???????????????

Yeah.. exactly... and if we're talkin' inflated... What altitude?

Matches?
She's always outta earshot when Squirt says, "Oh hell yeah, that's a GREAT IDEA, Bubba"...
But, when she shows up to protest an inferno...
he's always magically standing there with a fire extinguisher...
And a blinding halo...
