Title: Hello all. HELP- Doesn't work out of the box please help!

I just unpacked and put the 6 rack digital together with great anticipation.  Only to find out when I power on all I get is a constant peep-peep and on the display I see error's1 does any one know how to reset this thing?  I tried multiple times to restart, unplug ed, also took the fuse out and powered again with the same results.  Following the seasoning method instructions with no success >:(  The timer setting and up and down arrows do nothing.  Someone pleas advise

Hi Moondog and welcome to the forum.

Please check you packing again. There should be a thin sensor wire that should connect the smoke generator to the tower. Plug that in both and the E1 error should go away.

You may have to plug and unplug the sensor wire several times that HR referred to in order to get the connection.  Reverse ends and try it again if the connection is still not made.

My pleasure MoonDog.  We've all had to go through that before.  Another hint, keep that vent open.  Don't shut it down.  Contrary to what would seem logical, shutting the vent down, particularly while smoking will actually decrease the box temp.  Mine is always at least 50% open unless I'm doing poultry.  Then it's 100% open as poultry has a LOT of moisture and moisture is the enemy of a Bradley.

Welcome aboard Moondog!
Just set mine up and it worked right out of the box. I'm seasoning it as we speak.
Did some reading here and I made sure all wires were connected good before firing it up.
Have fun I know I will.

Watch out this kinda smoking is very addictive.
