Title: Looking for this Jalapeño Holder
Post by: nsxbill on March 13, 2005, 08:29:00 PM
I am looking for the site that offers this Jalapeño Pepper Grill accessory.  Anybody know who sells them online?  I found them once, using google search, about 2 weeks ago, but forgot to thumbnail it, and now can't locate.

I don't want a grill the shape of Texas, a chile  It doesn't have to say "Chile" on it... I just want something simple, stainless that will hold 21or more chiles like this one.

Thanks,

Bill

It will work only on smaller peppers.  The holes in this one are larger and hold a little bigger Jalapeño pepper...the kind we use for ABT's.

If I still worked in a sheetmetal shop like I did back in the 60's, I would be cranking these suckers out regularly.  So easy, yet the ones that are shaped like something are ridiculously priced.

Bill,

I had just come across this the other day, but I can't remember where. The one that I saw was holding both jalapeno peppers and deviled eggs. I will search my browser's history.

<font color="red">Found it. Now that I took a second look at the accessories, I might purchase one of his systems </font id="red">http://www.samssmoker.com/store/2002100_6in1.html . He has several different systems, so you could get the holder by it's self. I found the link through Carolines Rubs http://www.carolinesrub.com/links.asp

Thanks to all...Picked up a couple for those Cabela's for some "HOT" times.    ABT's coming again!  This time I think I will use a apple corer/peeler to clean out the insides instead of my fingers!

I appreciate it.

After some though, I decided to order the 6 in 1 grilling system from Sam's Smoker. It has a few other utensils that I need, and it appears fairly compact. So this is my best option.

I believe we need to thank Bill.

I was at that site before, but did not pay much attention until Bill's post. Then I went back and took a second look at the products and realized how unique his grill accessories are.

Johnintx1,

That's nice.  I am amazed at your shopping prowess.

I always find it helpful to know that someone paid less for something after I have already purchased the item.

Living in the boonies and making a trip 40 miles to and from a Walmart in my H2 that gets 11 miles per gallon, to shop at a store I don't like to shop in in the first place to save a couple of bucks just doesn't make sense to me.

I am, however, extremely happy you found that bargain.
