Title: My Turn For Help
Post by: NePaSmoKer on December 16, 2009, 11:28:41 AM
Ok here goes.

My digital 6 rack and programmable PID? Will the PID hold the temp @85* longer than the 9 hrs 40 mins that the digital smoke generator?

Thanks All

My guess is no.  At 9 hours and 40 minutes the BDS is most likely going to shut itself down.  I'll certainly yield to others.  That is just my best guess.

I have an OBS - but I'll take a crack at it anyway.

I would plug the SG into the wall as well as the PID, and plug the tower into the PID.

I think that will bypass the SG having any control over the tower/PID.

Thats what I do.

I havent turned on the tower side of my generator sense I got my PID.

That's why you boys make the big bucks!  That indeed should work.  Told you I would yield to the folks who actually know what they're talking about. :D

Exactly, Plug the tower into the pid and the pid will control the tower and not the bradley controls. The only thing the bradley controls do with a pid is control the smoke generator.
