Most wins in NCAA Division 1 History!
Uh huh, Uh huh... ;-)
What took them so long? :D ;D
Congrats to UK!
That bonehead Billy Gillispie is what took them so long! :D
What rankin is UK this year?
I know Texas is #2.
Just wondering.
Yeah.. Billie was a big mistake.
If they wanted someone that knew how to chase skirts and drink bourbon...
Any of us coulda run the show ;-)
But, the problems run deeper.
The president of the University is a former "professor".
He thinks that all his professor friends should have good seats for free.
God forbid we do things the way we did for 100 years (with great success).
Premium seats should be allocated by the athletics director...
That way - they go to the BLUE-BLOOD contributors.
and they keep funneling the MONEY.
Basically, he thinks academics should come before sports...
Which is noble, but he must not have been a great "learner" himself...
Fact is... Great Basketball brings in BIG MONEY - and implictly improves academic programs.
Putting KY basketball FIRST - believe it or not - makes it a better academic institution.
Noble intentions ain't worth squat.
Luckily, he wants to keep his job, and he's finally figuring it out. ;D
They're #3 right now (were #4) - undeafeated - so I guess somebody LOST a game and we inherited #3...
Tonite: #1 Kansas won #2 Texas won (last two games Texas has beat #9 and #8)
Our 2000th win was 88-44 against Drexel.
Hope our boys don't get lax - and think every day is gonna be that easy....
But, I don't think Calipari will let them ;-)
So far, so good...
