Start with small loads until U get the hang of how the toy works.
Right off the bat I did a BIG load and got all frazzled.
But with the help of everyone here I got over it.

THANKS FOR THE WELCOMES! I'M THINKING OF STARTING OUT WITH A PORK ROAST AND MAYBE SOME OF THOSE ATOMIC JALEPENOS WRAPPED IN BACON. THERE ARE SO MANY GOOD LOOKING RECIPES ON THIS FORUM, I THINK IM GONNA BE BUSY FOR A WHILE. (I BETTER STOCK UP ON RUM!)

Hey Doug welcome to the forum your going to love this place. Here is a link to a stuffed pork loin roast I did. Check it out i turned out really good except for the wild rice which I will cook first next time. And next time will be very soon cause my family keeps buging me for it again.

I got mine yesterday also. Seasoned it yesterday and was at Kroger early this morning, on the hunt for my Cook's Ham, butt portion. I don't know which I am more addicted to; the smoker or this forum. I am learning so much and can't wait to be an expert, like many of you are.
