What do you do when the puck advance mechanism won't stop advancing pucks?

I need to smoke a turkey before I can go to bed.

Ok.  Crisis avoided.  It was the micro-switch.  I just unplugged it and plugged it back in and all is well.  I will get some sleep tonight.
