Title: First attempt on baby backs
Post by: MPTubbs on January 09, 2010, 06:12:22 PM
I took this

Rubbed down with Cabela's Mountain Man Burban and Pecan Honey rub. Slathered down half of them with mustard.

Placed in smoker and smoked with Alder and apple for 3 hours.

After the 3 hour smoke job I wrapped them in foil with a splash of apple juice and back in they went.
4 hours later unwrapped and sauced them with Famous Dave's Rich and Sassy.

Back in the smoker for 2 more hours

Wa-La...ribs are served!

And mighty tasty

Looks mighty fine!  But...

Ya know..
When you don't eat 'em bones and all..
That's a dead giveaway you didn't use hickory.

No friends over this time...the wife and I needed a brake.

Since I got the Bradley friends been over every week end.....funny how that happens.

I'm glad my step son didn't come home from collage this week end.

Usually he brings a BIG buddy of his with him. 6'2" and 280lbs.  Let me tell you that boy can eat! :o

The last time I did a brisket them 2 boy ate half of a 13 pound brisket in about 15 min. Pissed me off.

That's what happens when you turn your back on 2 hungry grizzly bears.  :D
