Title: Home Smoked Casings

So decided to cold smoke some collagen stick casings. Did a cold smoke of 40 mins with hickory.

Before smoke.

In the smoke, just starting.

Its 23* today. This is the cabinet temp with the first 20 mins of smoke.

After 40 mins of smoke. Casings were flipped and rotated after the first 20 mins. The pic dont show much of the color change that much. Hey they smell good anyways  ;D

Boredom?
Cabin fever?
Sounds interesting but inquiring minds want to know what you are going to do with them ?

I did ski when i lived in Calif, After a broken ankle i gave it up.
