Has anyone tried adding ECA to the ground meat and dehydrating?  pros and cons?

I don't think ECA releases until 130 degrees does the dehydrator get that hot?

Would not like to "crunch" it when eating the jerky

Dehydrator runs up to 170*.  Usually run at 160* it should melt, but if NEPA says an emphatic NO ........ he must have tried it.

Thank you both.
