Title: stuffer tube?
Post by: watchdog56 on January 21, 2010, 10:50:17 AM
Does anyone know if the Gander mountain Guide series of extra stuffer tube would fit on an LEM 5lb stuffer? I am looking to get the 3/8 inch extra tube but they only sell it in 3 pak with the 3/8 in the pack.

You can get a 12" long 3/8 SS stuffer tube from Scott's Place.

I'm not sure, but the Gander Mt. 5 pound stuffer tubes have a diameter at connecting Point of 1 1/2". If your connecting point is the same then they will fit.

Will the 7/16" one work with 199mm casings?  I don't see a 3/8" on his site anymore so I'm curious if I could just go with a 7/16" or if I see if he can do a 3/8"s?

Thanks nepas.  It would be tough filling a 199mm casing through there, lots of cranking.

The tubes I use are 7/16" OD and 3/8" ID for Scott's snack stick stuffing tubes.
