Title: Just bought a new Bradley Smoker - Need a baby back rib recipe
Post by: kels on January 24, 2010, 04:57:06 AM
We just bought our smoker last week and we want to smoke some baby back ribs. Does anyone have a recipe with a great rub that can be made for this evening?

Use the Tenpoint5 recipe at the top of the meat forum. You won't be disappointed.

Try a bunch of different rubs. Here is out favorite, it is a variation of the Wild Willy's Rub in Jamison's Smoke and Spice.

1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup coarse salt
1/4 cup coarse pepper
1/4 cup paprika
1 tbsp garlic granules
1 tbsp onion granules
1 tbsp chili powder

We bumped the sugar up from the original recipe, the sugar carmelizes with the meat juices and smoke, and makes an awesome Mr. Brown on butts and picnics, and is fantastic on ribs as well.

Keep that vent at least 1/4 open when doing your ribs.
