Title: Jan's cold smoked salmon spread
Post by: KyNola on January 24, 2010, 08:53:36 AM
Jan's been at it again.  There are many versions of this.  This is Jan's version

4 ounces of cold smoked salmon, diced
8 ounces of softened cream cheese(can use the Lite)
1/4 cup finely diced red onion
2-3 tbsps of capers

Combine all of the ingredients and let stand in the frig to let the flavors marry.

Great for breakfast spread on a toasted bagel.  Would make a great dip too.

Enjoy.

Thanks for the recipe.  That will go great in my Sunday morning omelet.  Will sweat the onions a couple of minutes first.

This sounds great, Kynola!  I would love it on a bagel, or on a whole wheat cracker!
