Title: Aunty Annes Pretzels
Post by: oakville smoker on January 31, 2010, 03:01:29 PM
Got this form the copy kat site
if you like ball park pretzels, give this a go
Never made these before, learned too much at the end and not enough at the start about rolling
But damn they are good
I see some more in the future for Super Bowl

Nice job OS!

It doesn't matter what they look like, they still taste great.  I love homemade pretzels.

Auntie Anne's originated in Lancaster PA. Its about an hour or so drive from me. The pretzels are located at just about all the malls around the Tri State area.

They taste great
The recipe is on the copy kat site
Super easy
It says let rise for 30 minutes, I think the rise should be longer
I also found that wet hands rolling the dough strands gets them smaller in diameter
These things are awesome, give them a try

This is the town my wife grew up in. Lititz PA. In Amish country

This is the oldest pretzel place. You can go there and make your own pretzels.

I am addicted to these things
Make your own, my kind of place
Maybe they can teach me how to braid it properly
Long way to drive for a pretzel but could be worth it
