Post by: westexasmoker on February 01, 2010, 11:02:54 AM
40 lbs all rubbed up and happy

Having to do these in the offset

Why the offset....20 lbs of cheese in the OBS  ;D

After the smoke

After the cook and time for some FTC, stole a bit from the second one!  ;D

Just finsihed a couple of sandwiches here as well and I could go for some of those briskets!!

BTW
What in the Heck did you do to your Maverick?? Looks like it went swimming in the pool with that last brisket you did in the oven and is covered in juice.

WTS,
As always the briskets you prepare look great.  What grade of brisket do you usually choose?  Keep in mind that I'm stuck in Kentucky where the available brisket inventory is limted to whatever Sam's Club is going to have.

Thanks for your knowledge.

Thanks Ky....Choice and Select are the usual grades around here, and quite honestly with brisket I don't see to much of a difference except in price.  I also get most of mine from Sams, hard to beat 1.68 lb.

Thanks WTS,
I see both Choice and Select here too.  Wasn't quite sure if I should choose one over the other.  Won't worry too much about it then.
