No problems here, hAndles pics and all.
Interesting. When I get around 560 characters the posting screen hides what I'm typing. I've now tried this on 3 systems from IE 6 through IE 8. Perhaps those who have replied here have not acceded this count.

Here is what I have been able to find out.
http://www.simplemachines.org/community/index.php?topic=331832.0 (http://www.simplemachines.org/community/index.php?topic=331832.0)
I will send this to our IT guys and see what they can do,
Has anyone who has this problem tried running IE8 in Compatibitly View and does it correct the problem?
Brian
Raye have you tried it in FireFox?
I use FireFox and haven't had any problems. I gave up on IEx.
Hey I just had the same issue, and I am no in IE 8 with Compatibility View on and the format is different and I do not have the issue.

Greetings Brian,
QuoteHas anyone who has this problem tried running IE8 in Compatibitly View and does it correct the problem?
I've had this issue on three systems. One using IE6, the others IE7 and IE8 respectfully. This started a few months back.
What I've been doing when I wish to post something of length is to write it out in a word processing program then copy / paste.
Raye
Yeah Raye I have been having the same problem. It is very annoying for us longwinded folks.
Know Mac, no problem!! ;) ;)

When are you Mac users going to get it? Most of the World runs on Windows. I use IE as most government agency's only support its useage. Go to a place like EXOSTAR and try to fill out the required information for SecureForms in anything but IE--- Bleep~~sorry Charlie no go.
Did you know that back in the early 80's Mr. Apple blew it? He licensed companies to make Apple clones. This was to compete with the then IBM clone. Well they were so successful that Mr. Apple's band name just about stop selling. So what does he do? He buys back the license and jacks up the cost of his name brand.
This cost forced the average user to purchase the IBM clone. I know as in 1983 I was looking at both clones.
The reason hackers as whole do not go after Apple/Mac is it is in such limited use that Windows is a better target.
Two IT managers I know of who work for very very large companies have told me that Windows 7 is gold. After having it on this new box I cannot find any reason to not believe them.
Mr. Apple could have owned the world, but his greed got in his way. It seems to me that he was more interested in selling boxes than an OS. Gates was on spot.
Also the problem I have with posting on this board is not browser related.
Mac users "got it" when they went to Mac, Olds... as long as I have King Salmon and a Bradley or two (or four now!), who needs EXOSTAR and SecureForms?!?!? As far as "most of the world", "...narrow is the gate..." :) :) Guess I'm too retired and too far from "civilization" to care that much about that Mac v PC stuff anymore. I just like things to work when I need them and, (with one recent exception :-[ ), Mac has done that for me since 1987, so I guess I really don't have a dog in this fight... :D
To funny. I knew what your reply would be. All is good between us.
I will say that in 1983 the Apple II-E was eons ahead of the archaic DOS 3.1. The II-E was a joy to use while DOS 3.1 was a total pain in the A$$. Man I hated that platform, but I could not afford the Apple. I remember my first IBM clone with all of the software I need was around $600.00. The II-E cost almost twice as much not counting the software I needed.
Mr. Apple could have owned the world. Funny what greed can cost a person.
Certainly Gates is the better marketer and pretty much owns the world...I'm glad he's such a philanthropist!! Hmmmm.....I wonder if he'd give any con$ideration to my need of a new offshore fishing boat?!?!? ;)
