Title: SM overhaul
Post by: lumpy on February 04, 2010, 12:03:36 PM
Hey guys.
I like to overhaul my SG and last time I did this was outside plugged into the BDS.
I like to do this inside on my workbench but when I plugged the SG into AC all I got was E flashing. Think I remember this happened to me last time that's why I plugged it into the BDS.

Is there a way that I can bypass all of this? Main reason to overhaul is to check the gears and micro switches. Can't do this without AC.

Thanks
Lumpy

For the SG to operate properly it needs to have the small sencor cable plugged in to the cabnet. Thats the E code, no cabnet. You can make a bypass plug by using a plug that fits the SG and trick the SG with a 100 K ohm resistor.

Lumpy,
You got a Bradley cold smoke box?  It came with the plug that tricks the BDS into thinking it's hooked to the tower.
