No problem, Mike. That's what we strive for, service! You're gonna love your smoker once it gets there.[;)][:)]

Ya think next time I check into a hotel & they ask "Smoking or Non?" they would mind?

Do you put a bisquette on top of the Bubba Pucks to force the last burnt bisquette off the shelf? Maybe I should have bought 3 pucks. Well I have only smoked once so far. I am sure I will figure it out.

Some people buy 3, some people just put an extra wood one on top of the Bubba Puck & some people don't worry about it. It's all a personal preference thing.

I bought 3 Bubba pucks for the convenience . . . maybe you can convince a friend to buy a BS and then 4 Bubba Pucks [;)] . . . using an extra wood puck works fine, but after a couple of uses the wood puck will disintegrate, so make sure you "rotate your stock" and use that puck before it breaks up.

When I bought my Bubba Pucks they only came in sets of two, so I quickly learned to start using an extra puck. I don't use the same puck each time I smoke. After I use a puck to advance the Bubba Pucks, I will use that puck in the next smoke when I am using the same or similar wood. It seems that mesquite and hickory take handling better then the rest; but apple and pecan hold up pretty well also. Try to avoid using maple, it does not hold up when handled too often.

The puck you use to advance the Bubba's is easy to identify. Depending on the length of the cooking time, after the last puck was advanced, it will have a light to dark brown spot on the edge where it has come into contact with the Bubba Puck. This does not appear to have any effect on the puck, and it seems to smoke alright.
