Title: Savannah, Georgia
Post by: lumpy on February 26, 2010, 12:17:30 PM
I'm going to Savannah next month for a few days and was wondering if anyone knew of any cool places to shop and see.
Will be staying at the Hyatt Regency, on the riverfront.

Thanks for any replies.

This would be a neat walking tour, if you were a fan of the book or the movie..

Go to the Crab Shack on Tybee Island. Take the open air bus tour through old Savannah and go visit river street. You will see where Paula Deans husband works on the river tuggs. If your going to eat at her place you better make reservations ahead of time.

I think we are leaning to Savannah when my wife retires in 1 1/2 yrs.

That's the Dungeon bar directly behind you.  Creepy place.

It's nice of NOLA to place those poles every so many feet to help one navigate back to the hotel. :D
