Title: What a good son I have.
Post by: RossP on March 02, 2010, 04:20:47 PM
Well I do not start work  until noon most days, I work until 8. I arrive at work
today to find my son sitting in my office. He says to me here Dad a little
something for smoking some Salmon for me. He had gone to the Bradley
factory to get it for me.

Now you have to understand that my son does not eat Salmon or any other kind of Sea Food,
He does take some to give to his girlfriend or his mother, but he gives the rest to me. This last year
he gave me 6 Coho, 10 pinks and 5 King salmon along with about 10 pounds of Spotted Pacific Prawns.
He knew that I wanted to make some Lox and smoke some cheese so he got me Cold Smoke adaptor.
What a great kid. Love him lots.

Fantastic RossP.

Question, Do you think your Son could call my Son and tell Him how great we are?

Congrats!

Ross, my son drives past the Annacis Island factory every day! He also eats most of what I smoke! Think I'm going to suggest a little side trip to him! Or, maybe I'll just put the ol' guilt trip on him and send him a link to this post!

My son loves my smoked turkey jerky, and has been saying for quite some time that he wants to learn how to make it, so two w/e ago the two of us did two turkey breasts (about 12 pounds raw) which came out great - no more left now though. But the shared experience was good. I taught him how to sharpen a knife, how to use your knuckle as a guide in slicing meat, and all the other stuff. A nice time and the food result was great!!

The only way to get mama to lend a hand is to plan around her stupid ass reality shows.

Don't worry Dad Tabby will come home on the weekends to help you out. She is Daddy's girl and Hunting and trouble making partner.
