Had to post this for NePa, Nathans foot longs with bacon, tomato, cheese, roasted finger hot peppers, chopped garlic dill pickles and celery salt.

I'm not from Chicago, but I like a good Chicago Dog.
I can't get Nathan Dog's where I live.
Looks mighty good carnie.
I have never had one but it sure seems you get your buns worth!
I used to love this place. It was a converted bus parked on a gas station lot around Addison and I think Lockwood. They had the best hot dogs and tamalies I've ever had. Every time I go back, that place is one of my stops. Haven't been back in a few years, hope they're still there for the next time I go.
There's nothing quite like a GOOD hot dog with the works!!
Mrs
Now thats a hot dog!
Just don't put ketchup on it...
There is a place down from our office that serves Chicago style dogs/gyros/italian sandwiches. The owner and his brother moved down here from Chicago - and it is very authentic. I don't think there is a bottle of ketchup in the place!
Last night on the Travel Channel there was an episode of "Best Places to Pig Out" or something like that.
They featured a Chicago hot dog eaterie where the night shift (midnight to 5:00 AM) uses a lot of trash talk with the customers, who most likely are pretty well trashed themselves, and they love it!!!!
Mrs
Your killin me Tony
I would wear 10.5 G-String for a hot dog right now ;D
DOH
QuoteI can't get Nathan Dog's where I live.
I would not eat hot dog is Nathan's were not available here. The Mrs. knows not to come home with anything other than Nathans. Well maybe Sabretts, but that is all.
