Title: Strange Gizzards
Post by: Oldman on March 09, 2010, 04:12:40 PM
1. take chicken gizzards and parboil 10 minutes in water.
2. Place gizzards in a hamburger holder.
3. Place gizzards vertically in Big & Easy for 8 -10 minutes.
4. Season with season salt and serve with cold beer.

Becareful not to over cook the gizzards in the B&E!

I love gizzards. I may have to try this next time I fire up the BE.

Hmm. I also like gizzards, livers, and hearts. Do not have a Big E but that might work with a grill.

That sounds good Olds

I love fried gizzards, sometimes I eat so many my jaw hurts the rest of the day.

I'm goin to give this a try but not quite sure what you mean by a
"hamburger holder"

I just got my BE and do have the kabob holder which I think will work for this.

Thanks for the post Olds

A hamburger holder is a grilling basket to hold thin flat cuts of meats like hamburgers, chops etc. It's like a fish basket but square in shape. That way you can flip a bunch of burgers by just turning the basket over.
