Title: Venison Heart
Post by: KevinG on March 13, 2010, 09:36:43 AM
Decided to cook up the heart from the deer I got.

Started by soaking the heart in a salt water brine overnight.

Here's the ingredients.

Fried up the bacon and onion.

I Cut the tubes off and split the heart in half, then stuffed the heart with the bacon and onion.

Tied the heart shut with toothpicks.

Placed it in the crockpot with the rest of the ingredients for about 8 hours total.

I'll be getting some good dinner tonight!
