Title: My First Ribs...
Post by: LumpyDVC on March 13, 2010, 10:23:26 AM
Picked up some pork baby backs Thursday.

Giving it a whirl today. I made up a modified version of Jan's rub.
Modified in the sense that I didn't have ALL the ingredients required. ;-)

It looks good and smells good anyways.

Rubbed them and let them sit covered in the fridge for 24hrs.

Wife bought me the very hi tech and extremly expensive spritzer sprayer.

Everything is in the smoker. Giving the 3-2-1 routine a try.

All setup outside. Light snow going on.

All rubbed up.

Mmm.

How well did the temp maintain with the weather you had outside.

Weather held off. It did great!

Ribs are coming out in about 5 minutes.

I'm salivating.

Pics to follow!
