Post by: Seahawk on March 20, 2010, 02:01:25 PM
Can it be done at the same time? and anybody have a quick easy recipe for a couple chicken breasts? My wife only eats chicken, and i wanted to smoke something for her while i was doing my ribs. Forgot to mention i have the BDS4 and let me tell you i enjoy everything about it! not to mention this great forum thanks for your help everyone.

I don't see any reason why you couldn't do both at the same time. Some people here suggest cooking poultry at a minimum of 250 degrees, and that would be a bit too hot for ribs. But I have cooked whole chickens at 225 without any problems. I suppose you could position the chicken on the lower rack closer to the heating element to have them at a higher temp. I've never done just chicken breasts, so I'll let others here comment on that. Good luck!
