Title: My 10.5/Nepas Ham

Carolyns ham looked so good i had to do mine.

Ready to open. This ham is 18.45 pounds. Not going to trim.

So what was the Nepas twist? I would have removed the skin personally for better absorbsion of the brine and smoke later. See you in a week!!

I just cooked up some spice and added cold water to cool it, then added to brine.

A week is gunna kill me  ;D

How did you like the amount you had to inject? Should be a bit more than two bottles of soda pop or 3 1/2 cans of beer as a reference. My math says you had to inject with 44-45 oz of brine.

I pumped a little more into it. wanted to make sure i got in by the bone all around.
