Title: Wrapping my ribs
Post by: rcger on March 27, 2010, 12:03:06 PM
Does anyone have a good source for extra wide plastic wrap?  The OTC stuff from the grocery store just isn't wide enough.  Thanks in advance!

I don't know about Costco, but Sam's carries it. That and extra wide alum foil.

Problem is, is that it is for restaurants that have dispensers that buy in volume.

I used the standard and lay out two pieces and overlap about 1 to 2". wrap it up.

then lay a extra piece to cover the seam of the overlap. And put that in a two gallon bag.

My wifie makes me. ;D

I just bought some wide plastic wrap from Sam's.  It's in a box and comes with a cutter that you attach to the outside of the box after you punch out the perforated holes that you feed the wrap through.

You might try a flea market, I bought some 18 inch wide alcan heavy duty foil at one near me and he also sold the extra wide plastic wrap.
