"Floatin' on the Swamp, Cause I Be Dead"
hal4, any link to that one? I tried goggling it, but no luck!
BJ (am I allowed to shorten your name that way?) the aussie's - great humour.
I love music and guess what I love classic rock.
So just about anything from late 60's thru the 70's works for me.
Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Molly Hatchet, Grand Funk Railroad, Nazareth, Ozzy and Black Sabbath,
Creedence, my first love Stevie Nicks and Fleetwood Mac, Foghat, etc, etc.
Turn it on and turn it up!
So you have been "Flirtin' with Disaster" eh?

Yeah, sadly I know. I saw her live once. She had a voice that could knock the ABTs right outa yer smoker.
I saw her too at the Fillmore in SF along with Big Brother and the Holding Co. Very smokey night, that was.
Whatever is playing as I throw back some cold ones watching the OBS smoke away!!
If its to loud your to old. ;D
Got amps and subs in every vehicle I own. 8)

That was on a limited production CD run... I happen to have a copy at home - so I'll rip the MP3 off of it.

Kinda strange but our "Cowboy" town radio station recently switch formats from CW to classic rock.
Works for me.
I heard Georgia on my mind on the way to town today.
When I left town I switched the channel to a classic rock station out of Houston and heard ....
Georgia On My MInd driving home.
OK, I'll bite. I suppose most of you have seen the Blues Brothers movie 4 or 9 times. I liked Ray Charles in it. The cast was phenomenal. A favorite part was the BB showing up at the bar and asking what kind of music they like. The response was "We like both kinds, country AND western." I love the movie.
I am music poor. ;D
Ok I lied.
On a long smoke and I am still up at 5 or so, I like
Cat Stevens....Morning Has Broken

At that time in the morning you need to be listening to King Crimson or Kraftwerk...

Whatchu talkin' bout? Heck, I love you like a brother!
Not that I
ever had a brother, but if I did, and I could
pick out my brother, I'd pick YOU...
That way, I could be your "role model"... And someday they'd make a movie... "Goofy and Goofier"...
And, heck... If that ain't love, well... Good grief...
Here's another to throw into the mix:
Easy Livin' ................. Uriah Heep
This is a thing I've never known before, it's called easy living.
This is a place I've never seen before, and I've been forgiven.
Easy living, and I've been forgiven,
since you've taken your place in my heart.
Somewhere along the lonely road I had tried to find you.
Day after day on that windy road I had walked behind you.
Easy living, and I've been forgiven,
since you've taken your place in my heart.
Waiting, watching, wishing my hard life away.
Dreaming, fainting, ready for love every day
and some easy living.
Somewhere along the lonely road I had tried to find you.
Day after day on that windy road I had walked, walked behind you.
Easy living, and I've been forgiven,
since you've taken your place in my heart.
Easy living, and I've been forgiven,
since you've taken your place in my heart.
Love Song to my Bradley
OK, last one for me, maybe. ;D
Hangin' Out In Smokey Places .....by The Marshall Tucker Band
I wanna hear you sing your last one. Can't we attach audio here? If not, tell me when to call and you can sing it to me. I may have to put the cats in the back room ;D

Gee, Thanks. ;D
OK. I gave CRG (Sonny) a call to sing his song (Easy Livin' ................. Uriah Heep). He was kinda bashful but had the tune on in about 5 seconds. Then it was karaoke time. I put him on speakerphone and the cats scattered.
Lot of fun and believe me, you can't find a much nicer person.
