I find that my beloved OBS kicks the puck into the water trap some time before it is fully consumed. Anybody know why?
Seems to me I could eliminate the water trap
and get more smoke for my buck.
Comments, please.

Allot of the time its moisture in the pucks and i have noticed that the Oak does not burn thru.
Here is a link that my help you trouble shoot.
Bradley FAQ's (http://www.susanminor.org/forums/showthread.php?481-Bradley-Smoker-FAQ-s)
Also Brian posted that Bradley started compressing the bisquettes more, so they will burn slower. This may cause some users to experience bisquettes that have not fully burned. I believe he stated they were looking into using less pressure.
Don't get rid of the water bowl. It's there for a reason to catch the used puck and extinguish them. If they're not out you'll get some bad smoke plus run the risk of a fire in the smoker. Combination of hot embers and fat dripping from what ever you're cooking.
Gentlemen:
Thanks for your prompt response.

It's also a function of cabinet temp. Cold or cool (<180 or so) may not result in complete combustion of the puck. And as RAF said, keep the water bowl in there.
