How many have you been guilty of?
Spices and meat are the only ones I'm guilty of. ::)
I would contest a lot of that, for singles sure, but not families.
paper towels and toilet paper especially...
For a family of six - Sams IS the grocery store!
I would like to add chocolate chips to that list too.
We bought a big bag at Costco once and we just kept scooping them out as a snack and I never made one cookie from them. :D
That's a lot of chocolate and calories.
Carolyn
My house is too small to buy anything in bulk. The closest I come is the paper towel thing, but only 2 six packs. Oh, I guess that brings something else to mind.

Yeah!
How bout the big jars of Jelly Belly's too? :D
Emma asks for those every time we go there!
I haven't broke yet,
Carolyn
For me it's spices. They're not really bulk but I'm sure I have some jars that are ten years old. Time to clean 'em out.

I'm single and buy paper towels, toilet paper and meats in bulk. I wouldn't do it any other way. But, I have a large enough home that I have loads of cabinets, closets, 3 car garage, laundry room, etc... I also have two fridges and a freezer.... so space isn't an issue for me. I enjoy entertaining friends so things go more quickly than you'd expect for a single guy. Oh.... I'm definitely "guilty" of the candy :)
OK DM, so when can I come over ??? ;D
You're welcome anytime my friend. I'm about 5 hours up the road from ya....
Ooops, I'm 5 hours up the road from CRG... You're welcome too ArnieM but it's a bit of a drive from you I think :-)
I don't care what they say...
If I ain't got 100lbs of spice, 100 rolls of paper towels, and 100 rolls of toilet paper on hand, I get all goofy...
You know... Like worse than usual...

I know for a fact he has had every bit of a 40 pound bag of white rice stashed in his pantry, many a time...
Yeah, it's amazing what all kind of care packages folks will bring ya when you're carryin' multiple mortgages and losing weight... ;-)
(I think we're out of the woods now... Might even have me hot dog tonight!)
My kind of guy :-)
I found my favortie BBQ sauce in a 160oz container at Sam's last night. The "best by' date is March 2013... Ill bet it' gone by then ;D

Never heard of it - or
seen it at my Sam's Club..
What's it taste like?
It's absolutely delicious. It's sweet but has an interesting tang... They make a smokey and a hot but the original is my favorite. I use their rub on everything, I buy huge containers of that from Sam's too. Head Country products are made in Ponca City, Oklahoma. I've never seen them outside the state.
I believe I have seen it here at the Sam's I go to.
I will look next time I go.
Now that's what I'd call a "jug-a-sauce" DM. I usually order up two half-gallons of Carolina Treet. Good stuff.
I'll be reviewing a few sauces in an upcoming newsletter but they don't come in a jug like that!
