Post by: classicrockgriller on May 08, 2010, 05:11:16 PM
Needed to smoke some fun things today.

Eckeridge Farm Sausage split and mopped with Carolina Sauce and sprinkled with Salt Lick.

18 links of Reg Boudain and 8 links of Jalapeno Boudain

Smoking some Cajun soaked Boiled Peanuts

Everybody in the House

Using Hickory Chips instead of Brisquettes.

There is no smoke escaping. Am changing out the chips about every 20 to 25 minutes.

Somebody a lot more creative than me is going to write and record a song about CRG, the Grand Marshall of all food smoked.

Too bad there isn't a Nobel Prize for smoked cuisine (yet).

The 8 links upfront are the Jalapeno Boudain, the 6 on left are Cajun Hollow, the big pile is DJ's.

CRG,
I know you will take this as the compliment I truly truly intend it to be.  I am so glad you don't live close to me because if you did I would have to drive to your house and slap the s____ out of you because that boudain looks so good. :)

That looks so good.  Nice going Sonny.

My new acquire Grand kids called and was singing the Boudain Song and Dance.

I knew what they wanted!

Son and New Wife are basically non beef eaters.

Well not them two girls.

I send them ribeyes, sirloins, T-bones. They eat it up.

Bought this camera in November and one adultry beveage nite, it got drop and broke the tab that holds the Battery.

So today, I can't find my new Camera, so I jammed a toothpick in this one to hold the battery in place and had to use it.

Everytime you take the Simms card out you have to reset the date. I'm not doing that. ;D

Last pic.

The Sausage is very very good.

The fat of the sausage with the Carolina sauce and the Salt Lick is a Homerun!

Don't know about all that, I just like to have fun and do things different sometimes.

The chips that I used to smoke, some got some whiskey pour over them, some got rub sprinkled over them,

and some got whiskey and rub combo.

Deb, I need to make my own boudain.

A large part of my smoking budget goes to buying Boudain.

We sure do enjoy it.

My son sent some Boudain with the girls when they went for a weekend visit.

The girls dad called my son and ask if I would send him 24 links of Boudain every two weeks.

Of course he pays for the Boudain and it gives me more fuel for my smoking desire.

Party On.
