Title: Boston Butt?
Post by: jnairn on May 13, 2010, 07:39:17 AM
Folks

I usually head south to the USA to buy Boston Butt for my smoker. Don't have time this time around so wanted to buy some locally. Wouldn't you know, they don't call it that up here. Is Boston Butt another name for Pork Shoulder? I am looking to make pulled pork sandwiches on Sunday. Any help/advise welcome.

Thanks
John

Pork butt, Boston butt, Butt roast, Shoulder roast and Pork shoulder are all the same.

They come from the upper part of the front leg.
