Title: Thinking of trying to cure my first ham.

Hello eveyone, I have been thinking for a while that I might like to try curing my own ham. I have searched threwout the net for recipes, and found a few. But thought it best I ask here beforing attempting the process. So I'd like to ask if there is any good recipes that might be best for my first ham.... That and any other advise would be greatly apriciated, thank you all again, Duane

I cure my hams using the following recipe.

If you search this forum, you will find posts on how Tenpoint5 cures his hams.

Thank you for the recipes, there both very helpfull. Where can I find the insta cure #1? I have read of it before, but do not know where to finds it. I was thinking of using one of the Bradley cures because although pricey, can be found at C abela's.
