Well, if you bough MORE, it must be ok...
It's just one of those woods that sounds like everyone who tries it -
likes it.
So, I ordered 20lbs today.
Hal, I enjoyed it the first time I used it and I don't take notes, but I think it was on the tatooed turkey.
;D
I'll be sure and pick up a REALLY BIG LEMON before it gets here 8)

Holy crap you have to post that pic again. We laughed so hard when we saw that. :o :o ;D ;D
Shhhhhhhhh! ;D
I'm trying to change my image! ;D
Peach wood is my favorite on chicken, turkey and pork. I even sent a email to Bradley headquarters about three years ago inquiring if they plan to add that flavor, which they have no plans of doing so; at that time. When I had my vertical water smoker, that is mostly what I would use. I got the wood from a large peach tree that use to grow on my property.
CRG -
did you use the BBQr's Delight Peach?? I have been thinking about ordering some but they are pricey with the shipping.
Deb
Orchard trimming here in a stickburner - Appeared to be a milder smoke. I know of a few guys from central Tex. and from Georgia that use it in their "mix" while comp. smoking.
I plan to try a test of just peach but I expect I will mix it with hickory even if I love it ;D
FYI - I ordered mine from http://www.bbqsmokerwood.com/index.html (http://www.bbqsmokerwood.com/index.html)
Don't think they have pucks or pellets though...
But, I think they have "dust" (for the Smoke Daddy)...
Now..ya see guys? Hal wants to know about peach wood but then says "even if I love it I will still probably mix it with hickory". Hal is from Kentucky through and through. :) ;)
Once a Kentuckian, always a Kentuckian.
