We are thinking of becoming a BBQ Guru dealer. They require an initial order of 5 units. Would anyone be interested in getting a unit for their Bradley, Big Green Egg, Primo, Weber, etc?
I will offer those in the initial order VERY good pricing. If anyone is interested please let me know and I can let you know what your pricing would be. Just let me know what unit, adapter and accessories you may need.
Of course I only need four of you since one of the units would be for me :)
Here is a link to their site so you can see what is available.

Not sure Rick, I spoke with Bob today.
Got two units for the order so far. Hoping to get two more but can order as many as needed.
I would have been interested, but I've just bought the Auber PID for my DBS.... probably couldn't justify another gadget at this time.

dtro,
If you have the Bradley original you will need the Power Raptor...

Then just pick which Control unit you want. If you have any questions on the differences let me know.

PM me which units you are interested in and I can give you pricing.

dtro,
It all depends on what features you are looking for.
The NanoQ is the entry level control. It comes with a default setting of 225. You can adjust your temps up or down in 5 degree increments. This only monitors the temperature of your Bradley but not your food. It comes with a temperature probe for the Bradley.
http://www.thebbqguru.com/products/NanoQ-control-(no-fan,-no-adaptor).html
The DigiQ is a little more advanced. This has an LED display. It has many more features than the NanoQ but a couple of the biggest differences is that it will monitor your Bradley temperature and your food temperature. It comes with a low and slow ramp down mode. It will automatically lower the temperature of your smoker as the food temperature rises to make sure you do not overcook your food. It comes with a smoker probe and a food probe.

CRG,
You just need to decide on what unit to get, and for the Bubba Keg you would want a 10CFM fan and the XL Big Green Egg adaptor. That is the adaptor that fits the Bubba Keg.

Yup. The Guru is "running the show" as we speak...
I've got two butts and a
STC/Caney brisket going right now...
Till I get up in the morning.. the Guru is
in charge.
So far.. (knock on wood)... it's worked
like a dream every time --- seriously - it's a
great product.
[full disclosure] --- I ain't shillin' for Bryan, I'm just tellin it like it is.
Buster (at Stump's) recommended it for my Stretch, so I got it.
Heck, I won't cook
without it.
I could. But, I
won't. ;D

Hal,
Have you used the ramp feature? How does that work for you?
Bryan
Bryan, I think's "on" by default - starts coming down when pit/food within 30 degrees..
But truthfully, I haven't really noticed it yet...
I've been around tending the smoker...
If you go out and don't get back in time, I think that's when it saves your @ss ;D
I know it'll hold the temp exactly where you set it.
And when you open the door to rotate/mop/whatever - it recovers temp FAST.
You'll love it.
Just wanted to give an update, probably going to place the order Wednesday or Thursday of this week so if anyone else is interested let me know and I can add your units to the order.
Bryan
Order just went in. Will ship out the units as soon as I get them in for the members that purchased.
If anyone needs these in the future let me know and I will work out some good pricing for forum members.
