The runner up is my go to when I want a BBQ sauce.

Speaking of BBQ Sauce testing? ;D
Well, apparently my local sauce won the runner up. Kinda funny, most people that I know, me included, prefer other local KC brands over KC Masterpiece.
I've got the runner up in my fridge, and use it on stuff when I don't have any Cookie's brand BBQ sauce. I had some of the winner once, and thought it sucked...oh well.
Guess I need to get out more. ;D
Most of those I don't like!
Are they too far East to know of Stubbs? None of those I like. Obviously I am not much on sauce. :-[
Stubb's Original was in there - about midway if I remember.
No Head Country in there...
I am surprised to see Sweet Baby Ray's as the top pick. I tried it for the first time last weekend and it just didn't appeal to me at all. Maybe my pallet is messed up.

It is a work in progress!
There is only so much so waiting for a special cook. (Ribs are on sale for 1.99 a pound if they have any when I get there)
Not impressed with the "winners".
Way down the list they mention Bone Suckin' sauce...
I like that one, but it's overpriced, however it does taste good.
That said, it doesn't have a very "complex" flavor - just a simple kinda good.
Two they didn't mention (that blow away most of the others)...
Rufus Teague - It'll open up your taste buds a bit.. Very unique - and tasty. (but also pricey)
Blues Hog - pretty dadgum good. Unique. I like it. - and reasonably priced. Try it.
Gosh, never would have thought Kraft Original would be #3! That was what I thought BBQ sauce was until I hit my teenage years and started buying my own groceries! I do like it, but haven't had it in years.
I do like Sweet Baby Ray's and if it were readily available here in the UK, I'd buy it more often. As it is, it's a once or twice a year treat when I bring it back from home.
My favourites these days are all home made though....
I like thinner less sweet sauces, and prefer a couple of locally made brands. The sauces that are becoming my favorite are those made by Dinasaur Bar-B-que. Stubb's sauces are good, and I like those as well. It is well stocked in most stores in New York.
has anybody tried the JB's http://jbsfatboy.com/ (http://jbsfatboy.com/) brand ?

The "Cowgirl Ride'em Rub" looked pretty interesting.
