Actually, no. I look forward to it!
KyNola and I did some horsetrading to go the FLBentGolfer supplied goodies. I threw in some extra bottles of rub, sauce and other stuff, and he was going to send back a bag of Apple pellets my way.
Well, it started as a bag of pellets. Then the next conversation was 'a couple' bags of pellets. I got an email from Hal last weekend that he had 60(!) pounds of pellets for me.
Ok, I think I'm good for now.. Thanks KY!
(after a bit of re-stacking to get the Cherry stuff out of the way)

And now the mystery bottle of BBQ sauce that Hal had his MIL pick up in Paducah.

No label.. Looks like it is vinegar based...
Larry & Jan are right up there in the AWESOME forum members.
Wow, what a grab! That pic of the bottle makes it look two stories tall. :D
Nice!
What an angle for that pic. Look's like Paul Bunyon's sauce bottle.

It is! That's an 8 x 8 post. ;D
That's hal4uk's hitchin post.
STC, you are more than welcome and I can name that BBQ sauce in one note! That would be nothing else than Starnes BBQ Sauce. Starnes is a local icon BBQ joint in Paducah KY. Don't know and will never know how they make that sauce but OMG that stuff is good. All I know from tasting it about 1,000 times is it is definitely a vinegar based sauce. Beyond that I will yield to Hal's expert taste buds because I have no clue other than it has a nice heat to it. It is awesome!
I think that's sittin' on the Farmersville Community Hitchin' Post...
All I know is --- it's gooooood stuff ;D
KyNola - Heck, I've tried to reproduce it in my "lab" - No luck at all; not even close.
Let's hope they never quit selling it!
Yeah, it was sitting on one of my 6' fence posts... But it is a BIG bottle. Probably a liter or so?
Thanks again, guys!
