Title: New member from Amarillo Texas
Post by: Time for BS on June 08, 2010, 04:26:53 PM
Hi all,  I purchased my 4 rack DBS a couple weeks ago and have used it almost every day and love it.  I found this site and have about 33 hours of reading so far.  After reading your post on what works and what you need I purchased a Auber dual probe, Meat slicer, extra racks, buba pucks, foodsaver and a good tip on $12.00 pucks at www.Manventureoutpost.com. I just wanted to say thanks for sharing your knowledge with us.

Sounds like you are fixed up pretty good.

Good to have another Texan on the playground.

I'm from Lake Livinston area.

Welcome to the Forum.

Welcome to the forum BS.  Good to hear from another Texan.  I'm a long-range Texan myself.  You have only begun your journey down the road of smoking nirvana.  There may be bumps along the road, but if you get down on your knees and look at those bumps closely, you'll notice that those bumps are nothing but the bark forming on your smoking experience!  Cherish them.  Remember there are no mistakes in smoking just opportunities to experiment!
