I need a little help in coming up with the right HTML code to post my PICS so that you see a thumbnail and it is a link to the larger PIC. All my PICS are on Photobucket and my coding works in an HTML editor but when I try it in a post all I see is the code.
Here is the address to the large and small PICS:

http://i785.photobucket.com/albums/yy139/TestRocket/Bradley%20Smoker/2-OBSViewofbackpre-mod-tn.jpg
And here is the code that works in the HTML editor:
<br /><br /><a href="http://i785.photobucket.com/albums/yy139/TestRocket/Bradley%20Smoker/1-OBSViewofbackpre-mod-1.jpg"
target="_blank"><img src="http://i785.photobucket.com/albums/yy139/TestRocket/Bradley%20Smoker/2-OBSViewofbackpre-mod-tn.jpg"
border="0" alt="" /></a><br /><br />
Thanks!
The editor on forums don't honor HTML tags inserted by the user. You'll have to use the tags the forum software honors. I'll find the link that explains this.
In the example below I changes a few of the brackets so you could see the code. They are supposed to be all square brackets. Really all you do is when in photobucket and you "mouse over" the photo you want, there is a drop down of various codes. You choose last one (IMG Thumbnail), copy it, and past it in your post.

Here is the same thing posted correctly.

Hope that helps

And this might help too:

So last night it wasn't the alcohol after all?
Thanks I'll take a look and try again.
If your photos are in photo bucket, you can set your posted pics to thumbnails by clicking on "link options" ...
scroll down to ............ IMG for bullentin boards and forums, click the box for (clickable thumbnails) and then save.
Lets see if this works?

Well it did but not exactly like I want. In the one Mr Walleye did when you click the thumbnail you get the bigger PIC without all the Photobucket junk like the one I did. And CRG thanks I found the option you talked about.
See, I told you, just ask!
Someone always helps!
Is that thumbnail of mine working for anyone?
CRG "You told me so"
Works for me TestRocket.
It working for me!
And up-sizing fine!
Well then "Thanks to all" for the help. I'll get right to work and change all the code for my update to my element install. Y'all can see it a little later today. Thanks!

There is a setting on your account at Photobucket for this. I can't remeber which setting it is but if I think of it I will post it here.
Mike
I'll go look for it too! Thanks
Second try?

There is I believe an advanced button under the upload button that you can change the size of all your pics (this works for new uploads). You can also edit the size of them after uploading them.
;D Thanks everybody for your help! ;D
Guess I should also mention that you need to have the screen maximized in order to see the save your preferences button.
