Butt#2 Rubbed with Zack's Sweet Rub

Into the Bradley, 4 hrs of Hickory. This is sometime toward the end of the smoke.

Jacked to the right???

I picked up some Butt rub in Mobile this weekend visiting a friend and Q'ing some boudin, sausage, spare ribs, asparagus, ABT's and simmering some black beans. Also stopped off at "The Shed" on the way home in Ocean Springs MS and finished off my 'pigging out!'

Lookin' good CRG.  What made you decide to switch between the two smokers?

I was gonna say cause "I can"

But .................. That's not the truth!

I had done Chicken twice in this Old Smokey and it is moist and falls apart.

All I could think of was a Butt in that.

But, I wanted it to have some good Bradley smoke.

I can see through THAT story...
Time to FTC... had a little buzz goin'...  Semi-conciously just moved 'em into the next smoker...
That's like when you go to make that last drink, and carefully (so as not to spill) pour your bourbon in the ashtray...
It's half full -- when you realize --- Ohhh... Uhhhh... WTF.... ::)

I "re-built" this for my S F.

I am going to bring the Redi-Smok to him this week, so untill then, it is mine to play with.

But I wiil say this .... I might have to get me one. $120 on Amazon.

Maybe less if I drive back to the "Hood" area of Houston (the Factory)

No bullets in the Glock ... Amazon is free shipping!

Amazon has it for $149.50, free shipping from River Country.  Others have it for less but the shipping is pretty steep.

You don't _need_ a PID for a butt.

Just let it roll.

Pulled these last nite before Bedtime. Started at 12:30 in the Bradley and transfered over to the Old Smokey

about 5:00. They were done by 10:00 and FTC till 1:00. Some of the juciest Butt I ever ate and picked less

than a cup of fat out of both Butts conbined.

So many toys, so little time, and yet we would all like "just one more".  Good job on the Butts, a good example why we all need our toys.  Rock on.

I called the "Lady" at Old Smokey and she told me this:

If I wanted 12 New 1st in box they would be $85

Singles $120

2nd's maybe small dent, out of box $79

I see an Old Smokey in my future.

Had a great supper.

Pulled pork with mustard relish and Salt Lick Sauce on a whole wheat grilled bun.

Jalapeno olives, pepperoncini's, and Lay's Kettle Cook ... Vinegar and Black Pepper Chips
