Title: Pineapple ham steak
Post by: TestRocket on June 26, 2010, 05:40:04 PM

I trim all the fat off the ham and drain the juice of a can of pineapple slices. If I need more liquid I'll add whatever citrus or fruit juice I have. I then stir in honey and brown sugar (I don't measure) until it is thick and sweet. I then pour it over the ham and pineapple slices for an hour or so (covered with plastic wrap). The last thing to do is heat it all up on the grill and if you can get those good grill marks even better!

The ingredients:

In the marinade:

I'm full and that was good!:

This is a quick, easy and flavorful way to cook this type of ham slice. It's worth a try!
