The add for the local market showed spare ribs at $1.99/lb so I stopped by yesterday morning to pick some up. Way in the back of the bin I found a pack that must have been mis-marked. The package was almost 6lbs but was priced at $4.21. Couldn't pass that up.

Used up some random rubs I had laying around, and into the smoker:

After 3 hours at 225 with apple/oak they came out, wrapped them in foil with a little apple juice and back into the smoker:

Sauced up and back into the smoker for another hour. The problem with removing the membrane is that there is nothing to hold the bones in :,) Notice I lost some bones in the process:
