I saw where NePaS had smoked some pistachos. I followed his recipe 3/4 cup CT but I used half Salt Lick and half Head Country as the spice.
CT in bowl waiting for the pistachios.

We're smoking now! Notice my reflection in the back of the smoker ;D

I'll let them go 2 hours and have a nice snack as I wait on my brisket to finish.
You're going to have to use that smoker a little more so your reflection can live up to your avitar.

It's only about 3 months old but has smoked some great meals.
Looks like those window screens are doing the trick!

He don't have to worry about it. Probably his neighbor's house! ;D
Looks might good there Steve!
How did they taste?
They tasted great. They kind of form a crust that disolves in your mouth and then you crack it open. I did another two racks with Head Country sauce and Salt Lick rub.
Am making some Salt Lick Beans tomorrow with the Salt Lick Chipotle sauce as the Liquid base.
Hope they are eatable! ;D
Absolutely no doubt they will be!
Lasr batch I did had some fresh fround Romano Cheese, minced garlic and Tapatio hot sauce in the mix. My best yet.
