Do you guys have Gander Mountains out there?  If so, they carry them. I believe Bass Pro Shops carry them as well. Cabela's might even carry them as well.  I'd call any outdoors store and see if they have them.

If you don't have any of those stores, perhaps you ought to move to the midwest  ;D

If you do have any big chain sporting goods stores, give them a call.  They would be about the only ones I can think of.

Additionally, there's a great place online that I do all my business with.  They're members of this forum and their customer service is second to none.

Thanks for the kind words about the pups.  I believe the Lab was the last dog God created.....even He knew He couldn't make them any better than that  ;D

Did you try Big 5 sporting goods yet? Or Dicks sporting goods

Hi

I did go to Dicks and Big 5

it seems they both carry them on line only, not in the stores.

I guess there is no demand in Southern California ???

I went to WalMart and and independent sporting goods store also, and they say Bradley who ???

So i guess i wont be able to use it this weekend and wait for Amazon to ship the ones I ordered with the smoker. I am quite bummed

thank you all for your help

Not to worry.

In a pinch you can use chips you can buy at wally mart or your store. I have done this many times. Just place some chips on the end of the burner. Only thing is you will have to go out every 27 mins and wipe the ash off and replace with fresh chips. Only do this 3 times unless you like strong smoked food.

ScottJon, Welcome to the Forum and try what nepas suggested.

I've done it just for fun.

Then when you get your brisquettes in, you will really appreciate them.

Be sure and "Season" the Bradley first. Vent at "least" half open.

Here's some other things that might help you.

There is a Bass Pro Shops in Rancho Cucamonga.  7777 Victoria Gardens Ln.

Now if they don't have any and you want to drive down to San Diego, I can help you out.

Hi ScottJon;

Welcome to the forum.

If you have a small hot plate another alternative is to use the cold smoke setup. The link below helps you avoids frequent opening of the cabinet door. As mentioned above; you will need to go through the seasoning procedure.

Turners Outdoorsman is also a dealer for Bradley according to the web site.
There are a few of them in the Thousand Oaks area. Give them a call to see if
they have any. Worth a try at least.

Thanks Ross,

I actually tried the Turners in Canoga Park, not only didn't they have the Bradley Smokers, they had another brand of smoker and materials.

I asked a clerk and the cashier, and they said they didn't sell the Bradley any more. I didn't go to the Thousand Oaks store.

i am under the impression that smoking is not a hit in southern California. perhaps Bradley needs to get some sales people out here. there are more than a few people here. :-)

thanks again everyone
