I'll take a MRE any day! It least you get to chew something. Texture not just taste!

I've got mixed feelings about this. It sounds like a good idea for when I go hunting, easy to keep and eat, but just doesn't sound safe or edible.

Well, if you feel like investing in the concept, they're looking for a new money source.  Seems their principal backer was a guy named Travis Wright, a Utah money manager who told his clients he was investing their bucks in commercial real estate.  Instead, he put $145 million (yup, $145 million) in Candwich.  The SEC is not amused; Mr. Wright may well be on his way to the can (so to speak).

It turns out that Wright allegedly used money raised from about 175 other investors to support Candwich development and other business ideas. But those other investors had given Wright $145 million to invest in commercial real estate. A lawsuit filed this month by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission maintains that Wright committed fraud by misleading his investors and using their money to fund a "lavish lifestyle."

They should THANK the guy...
Sandwiches in a can have a better chance than commercial real estate these days.

When they come out, I'm gonna try to get my hands on one of the BBQ chicken.

Gonna wrap it in bacon and smoke it in the Bradley! ;D

I don't know.  Kummock's Hot Smoked Salmon in a can seems pretty tempting?

Any time any place, even if it's been sitting in a hot sticky car for days or even years, I can open up a can and chow down on a little bit of salmon heaven.  Now if I could just get cream cheese in a can, I'm in business.
